What if Obama and McCain went back to the senate and voted and helped the economic crisis, and then also did the debate on friday?

I think it would be a good strategy for Obama

I think that is the best thing to do, a president can’t just call timeout they should b able to multitask.

Both are going to vote regardless of when the debates are held. One has nothing to do with the other.

After voting "present" yet again Obama gets his a$$ kicked in another debate?

Not sure that’ll help him much.

Both campaigns are still running no matter what they tell the press. It sounds like a good strategy but voters may not agree.

Obama better hope they can get the bill passed before Monday. Because if they don’t he will look like he is out of touch and is putting his agendas before the peoples.

Strategy is not the reason a senator should go back and vote. It is his job! That is why he was elected for the job, not to keep running and talking or going back and voting ‘present’, but voting for an initiative to correct something that they all should have been looking at a long time ago. They need to get their ‘mules’ back to work at their real jobs.
